How to Sign in to Yahoo with Facebook or Google
Hi, I just got another common yet repetitive question regarding an issue with “how to sign in to yahoo and yahoo mail login process”. Here is the last email I got yesterday night on this problem.

Am going to post my response to Jackie’s question here so that all my readers with similar problem can learn from. Here it goes:
Hi Jackie,
I understand your plight as it were. I do not think that your problem with logging into your yahoo mail via your Facebook account is specific to you. Do not worry! There are no technical challenges with either of your accounts. The truth is that yahoo team no longer allows users to login to yahoo using Facebook or Google. As a matter of fact, they have removed the Facebook and Google sign in buttons from their yahoo mail sign in page.

Therefore, to gain access or have continued access to yahoo based services like Flickr and Fantasy Sports, you must own a yahoo account.
So if you are a yahoo account holder, all you need to do in order to gain access to any of yahoo’s services is to simply log into the platform using your yahoo username and password. However, if you do not have a yahoo account, then follow the detailed steps below.
Go to the Yahoo Help Page. When it opens, type in your Facebook or Google ID into the Yahoo ID space. And then click on Continue.
For security measure, you will be prompted to enter a CAPTCHA code. Fill in the code that is in bold and click on Continue. You can also request for an audio code as well.
On the next page, the email address you provided will be verified by yahoo. They do this by sending an account key by email to the email address you provided (as shown in the photo below)
A code will be sent to your desired email address. You are to copy the code and paste it in the space provide for it on the verification page and click on Verify.
Once you have been verified and logged in, you are now able to sign in to your yahoo mail account using your Facebook or Google ID.
