Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2016/2017 – The Nigerian Navy wants to use this opportunity to inform the public that the online registration for 2016 Recruitment Exercise has commenced. The recruitment exercise started on the 5th of March 2016 and will close on the 2nd of April 2016. If you want to take part in this recruitment exercise, carefully read all the instructions on the application guidelines here.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS FOR NIGERIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT
• All applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB/ (Must include Mathematics and English).
• All applicants must be between the ages of 18 – 22 years while 24 – 26 years are the acceptable limit for those with OND, NCE, Nurses and Motor Transport Department (MTD) respectively.
• Candidates who have higher qualifications than those specified above should not apply.
• All applicants must be single.
• All applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth.
• Required height of 1.70 metres for Male and 1.67 metres for Female.
METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR THE NIGERIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT:
Interested members of the public are requested to note the following information on method of application. Note that:
1. Applications are free of charge.
2. Applicants are to apply only once. Multiple online applications will be disqualified.
Step 1. Go to www.joinnigeriannavy.com
Step 2. Click on the Register button to create an account on this portal by providing a valid Email Address (which will be used as your User Name) and Password. Note: You will need your Email Address (User Name) and Password to log in next time.
Step 3. Complete the Ratings Application form. You can save your application. You may log in at anytime before application deadline closes to make changes to your saved application. Make sure you review your data carefully before submitting. Changes are not allowed after submission. You may not be shortlisted if you do not submit your application.
Step 4. Download and print a copy of your completed Application form which must include the following parts:
• Applicant’s Declaration and Certification by Parent/Guardian form.
• Local Government Area Certification Form.
• Police Certification Form.
• Guarantor Form.
GENERAL INFORMATION FOR NIGERIAN NAVY RECRUITMENT CANDIDATES
The recruitment exercise will start with an aptitude test and the screening of certificates of candidates at designated centres for various states. This recruitment exercise will start from the 9th of April 2016 nationwide. You must come along with your printed Application form.
